Safe Sitter Seminar®

Description:
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate babysitting preparation program designed for girls and boys ages 11 to 13.  This nationally recognized program teaches sitters how to have fun with children, as well as how to recognize a medical emergency and take appropriate action.  Additionally topics include how to handle specific ages, such as infants and toddlers, how to prevent problem behaviors, and how to handle the business side of babysitting.   Safe Sitter is offered as a one- or two-day class.  The two-day class offers the above information and training with more practice time, expanded information on injury prevention and behavior management, and craft ideas.  Infant and child CPR is also provided.  

Cost:
$30 one day or $45 for two days

Registration:
Registration required. Register online or Call St. Luke's at 381-9000.

*No refunds are given for this class, unless it is canceled by us or you are unable to attend due to the early delivery of your baby or a medical condition prevents you from attending class. Otherwise, participants may transfer to another class within six months of the original class date.

Registration form and payment must be received prior to start of class. Payment not sent prior to the seminar must be paid at the start of the seminar.

Minimum class enrollment is 5 or class may be cancelled

Additional Information:
Please bring your own lunch. Morning and afternoon snack provided.
Remember to arrange a pick-up location with your child.
