St. Luke's Center for Heart and Vascular Health

Today's Heart and Vascular Care

Cardiac and vascular care has come a long way since the first open heart surgery in Idaho was performed at St. Luke's in 1968. Today, St. Luke's provides more cardiovascular procedures than any other hospital in the state.

With more than 40 years of experience in caring for heart and vascular patients, St. Luke’s Center for Heart and Vascular Health is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to the people in our region. From our state-of-the-art technology to the skill and expertise of our physicians, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other health care professionals, excellence is at the heart of all we do.

St. Luke’s supports the region through partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and regional clinics where patients are cared for in their own communities. We offer classes and screenings to promote heart and vascular health, and support those living with cardiovascular disease.
St. Luke’s has provided hundreds of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to local schools, civic organizations, and businesses, and has worked with area hospitals to achieve standardized clinical protocols for heart attack patients.

As the region’s most comprehensive referral center for heart and vascular disease, St. Luke’s is honored to serve the people in our local communities through education, treatment, and care.
